These farm lands are located in the heart of the Micoud countryside, owned and operated by a family native to the island for over 30 years. Our Founder, Anja, one of the daughters of this family, branched out on her own in 2018, pivoting away from conventional farming she was raised in, determined to find a new way to farm. And she has!
She transitioned to organic farming and finally committed to regenerative agriculture after discovering the concept. Through research, observation and experimentation, Anja adapted regenerative farming practices for the tropical region from regenerative agriculture principles used by guides in temperate regions to create our research farms. This work prioritises the health of our soil and in turn our well-being. Anja is dedicated to this work growing to a legacy that spans generations.

Regenerative agriculture is a holistic & forward thinking farming approach that rebuilds soil health, strengthens ecosystems, and supports thriving communities. It doesn’t just sustain natural resources — it actively restores them, starting with the soil. We committed to regenerative agriculture over 5 years ago.
At Food Harmony, we work hard to produce high-quality, nutrient rich, organically grown produce that are healthy and delicious for our local community. We are able to customize farm designs and have seen that the practices boost the farms resilience in light of climate change. Our farm is committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices to ensure that our land remains healthy and productive for generations to come.

At Food Harmony, we believe in sustainable farming practices that promote the health of our land, our crops, and our customers. We use natural fertilizers and pest control methods, rotate our crops, and conserve water to ensure that our farming practices are environmentally responsible.

Less tilling and no chemicals means less harm to soil and people — letting soil life thrive and carbon stay locked in the ground.
Keep living roots in the ground. Roots feed soil microbes year-round — keeping the land vibrant and full of life.
Keep the soil covered. Protecting soil with plants, cover crops and mulch keeps it alive, nourished, and resilient.
Diverse crops feed the soil, support pollinators, and build natural resilience.
Animals help cycle nutrients, enrich the soil, and mimic nature’s balance.

At Food Harmony, we believe in regenerating the soil to great health and then sustaining its health at that improved state. That way its life giving capacity is greater than what we extract through cultivation. We prioritise the health of our soil and in turn our well-being. Farming this way ensures healthier soils, the production of healthier food and supports healthier population that eats this delicious, nutrient-dense food.

Through learning, experimentation and observation, we have established a living seed-bank and are also able to advise farmers and create customized farm designs. We have seen that these adapted practices have restored soil health such as grass cover to severely degraded lands as well as boosting the farms resilience in light of worsening climate change including droughts during the rainy season.
